OneSeeders
Have you ever battled with tiny seeds, trying to pick up one at a time to sow in seed trays or Soil Blocks?
Back in November 2012, we were introduced to ‘SeedSpoons’ from Canada, and they seemed to provide a very practical solution to the problem. We did some ‘road testing’ of them ourselves and so did some of our customers.
Then, suddenly and without any warning, SeedSpoons went out of production on 31st December 2012. We still had some stock and so went on selling them, but the end of SeedSpoons seemed to leave a gap, so we started to look at what we could do about it.
Our solution was to try making our own version from ordinary Seed Labels. In the process, we have introduced colour coding and broadened the range from 4 sizes of ‘spoon’ to 6 diameters:- 0.5 mm (purple), 1.0 mm (blue), 1.5 mm (green), 2.0 mm (yellow), 2.5 mm (orange) and 3.0 mm (red).
We have called them ‘OneSeeders’
